Lots of things happened on here yesterday. Take what you need and leave the rest behind. You're a supposed hippie obsessed with one band and one band only. You know these hippie quips.

So if you put the words wordsmith in your name around here I guess that means you win all subsequent poetry contests between the members. Good thinking and foresight on your part.

"Lots of things happened on here yesterday."

But very little of interest. Seems set fair to continue that way.

I was gone.

Does the world really revolve around me?

Now I am beginning to worry...

No, Will Tell, you revolve around the world. You're a satellite of love, man!

Hey--there's an apt metaphor for us: our Universe regularly experiences meteor showers...sometimes they pass through with nary a notice, other times a number of us are struck by the burning balls of molten space rock.

Lets hope this shower is over soon...

Let me know when gems of 68 arrive, just cause I tend to worry. Especially since George won't let us communicate by email...

I'm not too keen on the burning balls myself...

I'll be sure to let you know when the goodies appear. This e-mail thing is a puzzler to me I have to admit.

I think if we all fashion ourselves little hats of tin foil and wear them while posting it will protect us from the burning balls of trolldom as they whiz through our solar system surrounding the DEAD (our Sun in this metaphor gone lame by overextension...though I like the little tin foil hat idea).

I apologise for breaking in.

I don't find it a quiet day because there seems to be some possibility that the link on the main page:
http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=mediatype%3Atexts%20AND%20%21collection%3Aourmedia&sort=-%2Fmetadata%2Fpublicdate
has been hijacked and redirects to a page for an online meds site selling Floricet.

I don't know if it's just a few of us (I know of two others) or it's general.

I had to breakin because I can't find an "abuse" email contact for Archive.Org.
